A NEW ERA FOR THE OPEN FIRE
The time has arrived and it is now illegal for Solid Fuel Merchants to sell bituminous house coal in England
This came into effect 1st May 2023, however we can supply you with various premium quality briquettes and kiln dried logs etc. which meet the new HETAS regulations (below 2% sulphur, and below 2.5PM)
Logs are kiln dried (below 20% moisture content) and are all 'Ready to Burn'

The Coal Trade Code offers the consumer the opportunity to buy their solid fuel in complete confidence from professionals who are proud to offer such high standards.
The Approved Coal Merchants Scheme has a National Co-ordinator who ensures that Members maintain standards and fully adhere to the Coal Trade Code.
